Ingredients:
10 ripe plantains
½ stick of butter
1 small can evaporated milk
½ cup shredded mozzarella cheese
1 lb ground beef
¼ cup raisins
2 cloves garlic
½ tablespoon dried oregano
1 tablespoon tomato paste
½ onion, chopped
1 lb sliced cheddar cheese or Dominican yellow cheese
Adobo to taste
Salt and pepper to taste
Let's get cooking!
Peel the plantains. In a pot add water with a pinch of salt (one pinch). Boil the plantains for 15 minutes, once cooked, remove the water and mash them with the butter and milk, set aside. Prepare the ground beef stew, season with the ingredients and heat a frying pan with oil, add the meat, the tomato paste and in 15 minutes it is ready. Preheat the oven to 300 degrees F. In a buttered pyrex add a layer of mashed plantains, continue with ground beef, slices of cheese, top with the other layer of plantains, seal well with the help of a fork, top with grated mozzarella cheese to your liking. Bake in the oven for 30 minutes, let cool and serve, it will be good!
