Portions (10 people)
Ingredients:
- 12 boiled lasagna sheets (cook according to package directions).
- ¼ cup olive oil
- 1 ½ lbs ground beef
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon tomato paste
- 1 onion, chopped
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- ¼ cup chopped fresh basil
- 4 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- ¼ cup Parmesan cheese
- Salt and pepper to taste
Ingredients for the béchamel sauce:
- 4 cups milk
- ¼ cup flour
- ¼ teaspoon nutmeg
- 1 stick of butter
Let's cook the meat! Season the meat with garlic, onion, oregano, salt and pepper to taste (optional marinade). In a frying pan heat the oil and place the meat, cook for 15 minutes. Add the tomato paste, salt, pepper to taste, basil and a touch of water, stir well until the sauce thickens.
Prepare the béchamel sauce! Heat the ingredients, stirring constantly until it thickens (slightly).
Now let's assemble the lasagna! In a pyrex spread butter, add a little bechamel sauce, place 4 sheets of lasagna, then meat, mozzarella cheese, continue the process until the sheets are finished, on top bechamel sauce, parmesan and mozzarella. Bake for 30 minutes at 300 degrees F. The first 20 minutes of baking cover with aluminum foil, 10 minutes left to uncover. Remove from oven, let cool and cut into squares, serve! It's juicy, it's great.
