Ingredients:
2 cans of evaporated milk
2 cans of condensed milk
4 eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 cup white granulated sugar
1 tablespoon rum (optional)

Let's make this delicious flan!
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F. To make the caramel, place the sugar with a tablespoon of water in a small saucepan over medium heat. Once it is at the desired browning point, pour the caramel into a mold or flan pan.
Place the eggs, evaporated milk, condensed milk and vanilla in a blender and blend until the ingredients are blended. At this point you can add a spoonful of the liqueur or rum of your preference (optional). This mixture goes into the mold or flan pan that is already caramelized.
Bake in a bain-marie for 1 hour, to verify that it is ready, you can insert a toothpick or a knife and if it comes out clean it is ready, otherwise you should leave it for a few more minutes.
Remove from the oven and let it cool. When it is cool, place it in the refrigerator for 1 or 2 hours if you are going to eat it the same day. Or you can unmold the next day (recommended).
To unmold, run a knife around the edges of the flan, then place the serving dish on top and proceed very carefully to turn it over. It is ready to enjoy!
