Portions (6 persons)
Ingredients:
2 cups long grain rice
2 ½ cups water
1 tablespoon oil
2 tablespoons butter
4 oz chopped cooked ham
2 tablespoons adobo
¼ cup raisins
¼ cup chopped pears
¼ cup chopped apples
¼ cup peeled seedless grapes (optional)
2 tablespoons chopped parsley
¼ cup white wine
¼ cup vegetable stock
Salt to taste
Let's get cooking!
In a pot add the water, salt to taste (one pinch), the marinade and oil. Once it boils add the rice, let it dry, stir and cover over low heat for 25 minutes, set aside. Now in another pot melt the butter and sauté the ham for 3 minutes. Add the fruits, raisins, parsley, wine, vegetable stock, peeled seedless grapes (optional). Mix in the cooked rice and stir well to combine everything, serve and enjoy!
